1000 bedded Covid Care Centre at AU

Visakhapatnam crossed 200+ mark and the Covid-19 cases are on rise, which lead to the need of setting up more beds and facilities to treat the patients.

To face any situation in the near future, the Visakhapatnam district administration is setting up a “1000 bedded Covid Care Centre at Andhra University”.

The Administration will be at ease in setting up, as they can use hostels and other buildings for treatment.

It is known that only patients with no other health issues and having better level immunity are admitted into this centre. While aged persons and younger ones will be treated in hospitals and not in this Covid Care Centre.

It will have the facilities of general ward, along with a few single rooms.
