On September 19, 2007 during the T20 World Cup inaugural edition Yuvraj Singh has created an all time record by hitting 6 sixes in a row. The Indian all rounder went on to hit these sixes in the 19th over, which is bowled by Stuart Board in a match against England.
During this match India is batting first and in the 18th over which is blower by Andrew Flintoff, Yuvraj had hit two fours. It enraged the England blower and war of words started between Andrew and Yuvraj which was settled by the on field umpires. And the result of that happening is Yuvraj Singh’s 6 sixes in the 19th over bowled by Stuart Board.
Yuvraj scored 58 off 16 balls and India’s score is 218/4. England was then restricted to 200/6 and India won the match by 18 runs. Later, India went on to win the maiden T20 World Cup trophy. Today Yuvraj Singh took it to social with the photo and a caption: 13 years! How time flies!! #memories
