A 28-year-old woman died on Friday night due to suicide. She hanged herself to a ceiling fan after poisoning three of her children to death.
The woman has been identified as Ch. Surekha and her three children are Susana, Sharvin, Siril.
Sanjeev, husband of Surekha is an employee of GCC. He is a native of Semiliguda village and he has been staying with his family in Araku valley for the past few years.
Sanjeev found his wife Surekha hanging from a ceiling fan, and his three children were found lifeless in another room of the house. Sanjeev suspected and told to the police that his wife may have poisoned their kids and later committed suicide.
According to locals, there were disputes between the wife and husband since the past few days.
However, Surekha’s father alleged that Sanjeev might have killed the four people following disputed with Surekha and now trying to depict them as suicides.
The four bodies were shifted to Primary Healthcare Centre at Araku for post-mortem.
The police have registered case and are investigating to ascertain exact reasons for the death.
