The Government of Andhra Pradesh to set up 30 skill development colleges in the state. During a review meeting with the officials on thursday, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy examined the designs of new colleges.
Government estimated that the initial spending would be around Rs 1,210 crores.
The colleges to offer 120 courses belonging to different sectors. The courses are designed based on the requirement of the industries present in the state along with those that would come up in future.
It is known that some courses are designed based on national, international requirements and available job opportunities.
The Further details are industries like Kia Motors, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Hyundai, Volvo, HCL, ITC Ltd are likely to partner with government for training students.
