4,641 stranded migrant labourers from Guntur will be sent to their native villages in Kurnool district


About 159 RTC busses will be on ply for four days to send back the agricultural migrant labourers from 15 madals of Guntur district to 24 mandals of Kurnool district.

This operation began since Tuesday night, where the workers were made to follow the social distancing norms.

Before starting their journey each one of them were screened and then they were set of to the journey to their native villages.

There are some bunches of people nearing above hundreds who have been stranded and now with the execution of their send offs seems a relief to them.
