Connecting with nature heals the scars of our hearts and turns us, adults, into kids. So, it is a must to visit waterfalls at least once a year to keep our souls happy.

Here are waterfalls in and around our Vizag that you must visit this time.

Katiki waterfalls

A great place that also indulges you in a little trekking activity. 90 km far from Vizag these waterfalls are located. This waterfall originated from the Gosthani river. With over 50 feet in height, you can get to witness the clear and neat waterfalls where you can enjoy your time there.

Devarapalli waterfalls

Best place where you can start off your journey with a 2 hours long ride. 84 km from Vizag. The still water and the flowing water will catch your eye. You can also go up near to the waterfall and can witness some awestruck sceneries. You can explore the green hills all around the waterfalls which will make your trip worth.

Chaparai waterfalls

You can witness a unique kind of waterflow here at chaparai. This place located near Araku is a must visit. You can witness a stable water flow in winter where you can slide from the top to down like a slide you see at a playground. It is better to avoid this place in the rainy season, as the flow might be heavy and it might become risky.

Thatiguda waterfalls

Located near the Katiki falls, these waterfalls also originated from the same Gosthani river. You can witness waterfalls on one side and the lush green fields on the other side. A pure scenic beauty that is an eye feast. You can also get a chance for trekking which might be quite difficult if you are a beginner in trekking.

Timings: 8:30 A.M to 12:30 P.M and 2 P.M. to 5 P.M

Rana jilleda waterfalls

6 km from Araku these waterfalls are located. You can also do a mini trek for 10-15 minutes to reach the top of the waterfall. To reach this waterfall there isn’t a road way. You must do trekking.

Kotthapalli waterfalls

Situated near Paderu, 30 km from it, these waterfalls are a treat to our eyes. A tourist spot no one misses when they visit paderu or lambasingi. A perfect place for family vacations and photoshoots. This beautiful stream of water will catch your eye.

Duduma waterfalls

Located near the border of Vizag and Orissa. This is one of the highest waterfalls in India. This is a waterfall that originated from the Machkund in Orissa. This waterfall looks like a horsetail and resembles it. This is a collection of 3 waterfalls. The breathtaking view is what makes it worth visiting.

Tadimada waterfalls

Also known as Ananthagiri waterfalls. It is located 30 km from Araku. You can witness a 100 feet tall waterfalls which captures your eye. You can reach these waterfalls from Ananthagiri. It will be a 2 km trek or walking.

Valasampeta waterfalls

Situated near the village Narisipatnam. These waterfalls are 30 km away from this village. If you opt for the trekking you can witness Lord Shiva temple on the way to the waterfalls. Perfect spot to fulfil your eyes with all the sceneries around these waterfalls.
