A depression to form in Bay of Bengal this 30th


With the temperature rising in the environment, towards the south of Andaman and Nicobar islands low pressure has been observed by the Indian Weather Forecasting Center.

The weather forecast experts are predicting that by the end of this month this low pressure can turn into depression and in the next 48 hrs this depression is said to become intense.

Due to the formation of this depression parts of Andhra Pradesh especially costal Andhra region is said to experience winds that will blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kmph and also rainfall.

Few places have already started to experience rainfall due to the formation of this depression.

Anakapalli district registered 11 cm rainfall and similarly Visakhapatnam 8cm, Prattipadu 10 cm, Satyavedu 13cm, S.Kota 8 cm, Gantyada 7cm and Tada 9cm of rainfall respectively.

However, apart from high speed winds and heavy rainfall, experts also predict thunder shower.

Hence, officials are warning farmers to take preventive measures beforehand to protect their crops.

This depression is said to prevail till May, 3rd and Visakhapatnam is expected to receive rainfall with high speed wind and thunders.
