Vanjangi– a small village near Paderu in our Vizag district. Located more than 3,400 feet from sea level, these Vanjangi hills became the latest tourist sensation. This place is something that you shouldn’t miss!

Here is a quick guide on how to reach Vanjangi.

By road:

This place is almost 100 km from Vizag. You can reach Paderu which is 94-95 km from Vizag. This takes almost 3 hours for a road trip.

After reaching Paderu, you can take a 6 km motorable road to reach near these hills.
Then everyone from here needs to take a walk of one hour minimum to reach the hills for the viewpoint.

By train:

There are no nearby Railway stations from a 10km radius near Vanjangi. You can reach Anakapalli, the nearby railway station to Vanjangi, from there you can reach Vanjangi by Road.

By bus:

You can reach the Paderu bus station by taking the APSRTC bus. G.madugula and V.madugula are the nearby bus stations to Vanjangi. APSRTC runs many buses to reach these places. From there you can go to Vanjangi by road.

This one hour walk is worth the view that is on top of the hills.
The best time to reach this place is early morning before sunset so that you don’t get to miss the beautiful sunrise.

The beauty of this sunrise is that the sun rises from the dense clouds that are stagnant between the two hills.

The stagnant clouds that are present in between these hills, this place is also called as ‘Megha Samudra’ (cloud sea) because of the clouds that look like a sea. This is definitely a treat to watch.

The best thing is that people even stay here at night by camping so that they don’t miss even a part of this trek.
