A special economic package – Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month. To enlighten, empower and give a thorough understanding to the MSME’S, IT Industry and Start-ups on the Economic Stimulus Package “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat”, an intellectual conference will be organised on June 30.
The virtual rally will be led by Rajya Sabha MP and former Union minister Suresh Prabhu. MSME’s are backbone of tier-2 cities economy and they are the worst hit due to COVID 19. The future of over 20 crore citizens working in these MSME’s or subsidiaries have become volatile and to ensure the revival of these companies, Govt of India had announced a package of over 3.5 lakh crores in Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
But unfortunately many are unable to access them due to lack of awareness and inadequate support system from respective State Governments. Suman Krishna, virtual rallies co-ordinator, BJP Visakhapatnam parliamentary constituency, said, “Andhra Pradesh has got the potential to claim over ₹ 30,000 crores but till date banks have disbursed only ₹40 crores approximately”.
The motive of the virtual rally with Suresh Prabhu (Sherpa of G20), D Chandra Sekhar Director-MSME (AP & TS), MP Dubey Joint Director STPI & GVL Narsimha Rao MP – Rajyasabha is to address the concerns of execution hurdles along with creating awareness about various schemes, subsidies and incentives.
