The Anti-Corruption Bureau has put in all its efforts in controlling the corruption among public servants amid Covid-19 pandemic. The ACB officials filed 322 cases against public servants under various offences across the state.
The officials filed 62 trap cases, 14 disproportionate assets cases, 15 criminal misconduct cases, 102 regular enquiries, 97 surprise checks and 31 discreet enquiries during the year 2020, according to the ACB Director General P Sitaramanjaneyulu on Wednesday.
The ACB DG issued the ACB annual report 2020. During the year 202 the ACB officials laid 62 traps involving a bribe amount of Rs 28.39 lakhs and 28 cases that include 28 cases against revenue department officials. About 14 disproportionate assets cases have been registered against government officials possessing huge number of illegal assets.
