Actor Sonu Sood, who’s known better for his charitable deeds after extending a helping hand to thousands of people amid the lockdown, has now reportedly mortgaged eight properties in Mumbai to raise Rs. 10 crores for the needy. The actor who played a villain in films like Dookudu and Julayi turned real-life hero and helped the less privileged during the entirety of the lockdown.
Sonu has now reportedly mortgaged 8 properties located in Juhu, to raise over 10 crore rupees to help the desolate. The properties include two shops and six flats. According to some documents accessed by media houses in Mumbai, the agreement was signed on September 15 and was registered on November 24.
The building is said to be located along AB Nayar Road, near Iskcon Temple in Mumbai. A registration fee of Rs. 5 lakh was also reportedly paid to raise the loan. On the work front, the actor is currently shooting for Alludu Adhurs, the cast and crew of which clapped and felicitated him when he had arrived for its shoot in September.
