It was a black out day where amid the lockdown thousands of people were evacuated as the harmful styrene gas leaked from LG Polymers plant which is set in the Venkatapuram area.
The company was set way back in 1961 when civilizations didn’t even bloom.
After the gas leak in the early, killed about 12 people and above 300 people were admitted in hospital that included mostly children and old people.
After four days, finally the residents came back to their dwelling space.
Also it is said that the Chief Minister gave orders to send back 8,500 tonnes of styrene gas to South Korea in one of the container ships.
This process will take about five days and ministers advised people not to switch on Air conditioner at least for few other days and keep doors and windows open for few more days.
