The girl who is pursuing MBBS at Kunming city, Yunnan Province in China returned to Vizag on February 13. After she allegedly complained about a dry cough, throat pain, headache, and having high fever. The suspect was admitted to Chest Hospital on February 16.
Speaking about the case G Arjuna, the KGH superintendent said that the samples are being sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune or SVIMS at Tirupati.
It is a suspected case and not yet confirmed, so if the reports turn out to be negative then the girl will be put under observation for two weeks and sent to the home.
It was found after she came back to her hometown on Feb 13 from Kolkata in Falaknuma express and it was on the 15th Feb that she had diarrhea and other symptoms that are quite relatable to the symptoms of coronavirus.
