Andhra Pradesh Education minister Adimulapu Suresh announced that all CET exams including ICET are postponed as per the directives provided by Andhra Pradesh State council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Due to the prevailing epidemic situation Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed to postpone the entrance exams, news dates of the exams will be announced later.
Every year APSCHE conducts EAMCET, ICET, ECET, GECET, EDCET, LAWCET, PGCET etc. for admission into different courses and various post-graduate degrees in Andhra Pradesh.
On considering the different views regarding the chance of clash between EAMCET and JEE in September. He announced that EAMCET will be conducted in a way that ensures it doesn’t clash with the JEE examinations.
Minister has informed that the expert committee has prepared a new syllabus for undergraduate courses and will be introduced this academic year. All undergraduate students need to undergo a 10 months internship as a part of their academic course. While final year exams for both undergraduates and postgraduates will be held as per the UGC guidelines.
