Andhra Pradesh Government has taken a major decision for the well being of students announced the cancellation of Secondary School Cetificate(SSC) exams which were prior postponed.
AP Education Minister, Adimulapu Suresh at a media briefing announced that the Andhra Pradesh government has cancelled the SSC exams and all students would be promoted to the next class without any examination, as it would not be possible to conduct the examination due to the surge of coronavirus.
The students of class 10 would be promoted and graded basing on their internal assessment marks.
On June 10, the minister announced that the exams would be conducted as per the schedule but with the state reporting infections in three digits, the AP government has decided to cancel the examinations.
Also, the education minister further confirmed that the students who failed in intermediate examination are also declared pass.
