Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had launched AP Police seva app yesterday. This app will provide 87 services including registration of complaints. Being the first of its kind in the country, it’s aim to make the police services easily accessible to the public.
While speaking about the app, Chief Minister stated that apart from lodging complaints this app will also help to monitor the status of the complaint lodged. Developed with the concept of friendly policing, the main aim of this app is to inculcate confidence among public.
Features of the app: It connects all the police stations in the state.
This app also consists of a feature called fact check which will be useful to check the authenticity of the fake news spreading on social media platforms.
Periodical information update will be done regarding missing persons and unidentified bodies.
Registering complaints, filing applications and checking status etc can be done.
Cybercrime and women’s safety wing services will also be available in the app.
Road accident alert to nearest police station and directions by identifying nearest hospital, blood banks and medical shops is also a feature in this app.
