AP revises rates for treatment of Covid-19 in private hospitals


The state government revised rates for Covid-19 treatment in private nursing homes and private hospitals here on Friday. Accordingly, for non-critical Covid-19 treatment, Rs. 4,000 to be charged per day in NABH hospitals and Rs.3,600 in non-NABH hospitals. For treatment with O2, Rs. 6,500 and Rs.5,850 to be charged for both categories of hospitals respectively.

For critical care, Covid treatment in ICU with NIV to be charged at Rs. 12,000 and Rs.10,800 per day and also treatment in ICU with invasive ventilator support to be charged at Rs. 16,000 and Rs.14,400 per day respectively in both the categories of hospitals.

HRCT charges fixed at Rs. 3,000. Remdesivir injection to be charged at Rs2,500 per vial and Tocilizumab to be charged at Rs.30,000 if used for the patient.
