The state government has set up a three-tier structure by setting up a state-level task force, district-level cluster and district level flying squads for effective implementation of Covid-19 management in the state. The state government issued an order on Monday by setting up a state-level task force with the special chief secretary, Higher Education, Satish Candra as the chairperson and state Covid-19 Command and Control Centre Chairman Dr K.S. Jawahar Reddy as a member.
The Vigilance and enforcement director K.V. Rejendranath Reddy, health principal secretary Anil Kumar Singhal, health and family welfare commissioner K. Bhaskar and drugs control administration director-general Ravi Shankar will be the other members. At the district level, the district collector will divide all private hospitals permitted to treat Covid-19 patients into clusters and appoint a district-level officer as in charge to inspect these hospitals and receive complaints and take appropriate action.
A district-level flying squad with representatives from drugs control administration, vigilance and enforcement and medical and health to be constituted to keep a tab and initiate strict action on hospital fluting the guidelines.
