Aha co-owner Allu Aravind on Monday evening said that they’ve achieved the target they’ve set out for themselves in just one year of the platform’s launch. “We’ve fixed a deadline of March 2022 for some numbers but we achieved them in the first year itself,” Aravind exulted.
He was speaking at the Telugu OTT’s first anniversary in Hyderabad. Lauding the Aha team which is working round the clock and CEO Ajit Thakur for leading them, Aravind said that if it wasn’t for Ajit’s aggressiveness, they wouldn’t have reached the position where they are today. “We will increase our speed in the next one year. Krack’s digital debut helped us to grow a lot,” he noted.
He further added that more exciting feature films will be making their digital debuts on Aha in the coming year, so will be some big shows. He also appealed to aspiring writers and filmmakers who are close to landing film opportunities that Aha’s door is open for their talent to be utilized. Ram Jupally, co-owner, stated that it’s a big thing for a regional OTT platform to garner such a reaction within a year. “We will march ahead with aggressive plans. We are planning to expand Aha into other languages as well,” he said.
