AU will be cutting short Christmas and Pongal Holidays to balance the academic year

Previously Andhra University was said to give long holidays for Christmas and Pongal but now due to this crisis and sudden shut down of all the institutions, it is decided that the vacations will be cut short.

The lockdown has been extended to all the institutions till May 30 so the exams which were set to begin on May first week will be conducted in June first week.

And there will be no external evaluation as of now, the papers will be corrected by the internal faculty and the results will be declared sooner and not after a month.

Already most of the institutions have started giving online classes, conducting online exams, as well as assignments, are being done online.

If things go as per schedule then the academic year won’t be affected but students will not have long holidays for sure.
