While the filming of Allari Naresh’s next, Bangaru Bullodu, was wrapped up more than a year ago, the pandemic threw a wrench in the plans of the producers to release it for summer earlier this year. With theatres opening up, production house AK Entertainments on Tuesday announced that the full-length comedy entertainer will be releasing next month. They also announced that the post-production works have been completed.
While they didn’t specify the date, a source tells us that Anil Sunkara is looking at a Sankranti release. Posted Naresh on Twitter, “Back to base…. back to the screens…. back to doing what we do best — entertainment! #BangaruBullodu will see you in theatres this January 2021! (sic).” The film is the second directorial venture of Nandini Nursing Home fame PV Giri. While Pooja Jhaveri is the leading lady, the supporting cast includes the likes of Tanikella Bharani, Posani, Prudhvi, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Sathyam Rajesh, Prabhas Sreenu, and Rama Prabha. Sai Kartheek has composed music.
