The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Andhra Pradesh Chapter, has announced the appointment of new office-bearers for the year 2021-22. Vijaynagar Biotech Pvt Ltd Executive Chairman Datla Tirupathi Raju has been elected as the Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh State Council for the year 2021-22. Mr. Tirupathi Raju did his Masters in Management from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Institute of technology. He is trained in Biodynamic Agriculture under the guidance of Mr. Peter Procter, Biodynamic Association of New Zealand.
Earlier, he was vice-Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Tirupathi Raju started his career with the trading of chemicals, established poultry, Steel re-rolling mills, Cement grinding, pesticide formulations, Horticulture. Presently he is Executive Chairman of the Vijayanagar Biotech Private Limited. Mr. Tirupathi Raju travelled around the Globe namely Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Turkmenistan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Japan, Portugal, Poland, Sri Lanka, Germany, France, Nepal, Myanmar and the United States of America. He is an active member of the CII Andhra Pradesh State Council.
Mr. G Venkateswara Rao, Chief Operating Officer, K.C.P. Sugar and Industries Corporation Limited will be the Vice Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh for the year 2021-22. He holds M.Tech (Sugar Eng) and joined K.C.P. Sugar and Industries Corporation Limited in 1992. He worked in various positions and presently holding the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Mr Venkateswara Rao received a National Energy Conservation Award in sugar sector from Hon’ble President of India. He also received National Energy Conservation Award. Professionally he also served in various positions namely Vice President of South Indian Sugar Mills Association (SISMA), Vice President in Sugar Technologists Association of India (STAI) and Member of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC), etc. He toured various countries to study advanced technology in the sugar industry and global scenario in advanced, developed and developing countries like Singapore, Australia, Dubai, U.K, U.S.A, Guatemala-South America, South Africa, Mauritius, Qatar, Thailand, China, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong-Kong and Brazil.
