CII-iTAAP organized a Session on Awareness & Preparedness for COVID-19 today on 30 April 2021. Mr Pravin Kumar, IAS., CEO, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, Government of Andhra Pradesh during his special address shared that, apart from allocation of Hospitals to treat COVID Patients, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has set up Special Medical Care Units to handle low symptomatic and Asymptomatic COVID patients with end to end care facility. He also mentioned that Government is continuously working on increasing all facilities like Infrastructure, Frontline workers etc. The government is planning to manage the situation without going for a lockdown.
Dr A V Siva Prasad, Sr Consultant Gastroenterologist, Institute of Gastroenterology, Visakhapatnam shared his experience as a Doctor and as a COVID patient. He enlightened on the need for treatment and Vaccination.
Dr Bala Raju Tadikonda, MD, Interventional Pulmonologist, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine has emphasised upon the 3 important Do’s- Proper wearing of Mask; Hand Sanitisation and 6 Feet Distance.
