The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will be naming its new Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Covid hospital in Delhi after the Indian Army troops who lost their lives in Galwan Valley Clash.
In order to honour their sacrifice, the wards are to be named after them. The Centre is made ready with 1000 beds to treat COVID-19 patients. The ICU and Ventilator ward is named after Col B Santhosh Babu.
It is known that the Centre will be inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday.
