Despite the stellar performance Angrezi medium doesn’t stand out

The trailer seemed to be one of a kind where people were eagerly waiting for the movie to watch Irrfan Khan primarily and then the story that seemed unique but it fails to deliver the expected.
The theme that it talks about is quite prevalent and relatable where most of the movies were shown every child is sent or aspires to go to abroad to pursue their higher education.
This movie was with the right concept and showed that it is difficult or more of a dream to send their children for higher education to Abroad. It is more than blood and sweat.
The theme was on point and could have hit the right chord but missed badly as the writing was poor or maybe the reason could be there were too many writers on board for this film. The actors were rightly chosen for their roles and did more than justifying but tanks and leaves the audience at a point where people are thinking what’s going on.
The one-liners are too good and people find it relatable as the scenes happen between the daughter (Radhika Madan) and Father (Irrfan). Even after a star cast roping in Irrfan, Twinkle Khanna, Ranvir Shorey, Deepak Dobriyal, Kiku Sharda, Kareena Kapoor the story falls flat.
The only things that stand out are Irrfan’s impeccable performance where you are ought to believe that Radhika is his daughter and the cute relationship between the father-daughter is something that stands out and to which extent a father can go to protect and ensure to fulfil his daughter’s dreams.
Even though the audience is left in gnaw in the second half, it ends with a beautiful message that there are premiere institutes even in India and going to abroad for studies isn’t the only way to acquire freedom or exposure.
