Dr P V Sudhakar is the new Superintendent of KGH, Vizag


Dr P V Sudhakar, Principal, Andhra Medical College is also the new Superintendent of King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam.

Instructions were received from the Government, to this extent. This is subsequent to Superannuation of Dr.G.Arjuna on July 31. Dr P V Sudhakar is also the special COVID officer for the three districts. This will be an additional charge.

Dr G Arjuna acknowledged all the doctors, staff nurses, ministerial staff and others who have cooperated with him. In a function following the covid protocols, Dr Arjuna handed over the charge to Dr P V Sudhakar.

Dr K Satyavara Prasad, Director VIMS, Dr S Tirupathi Rao, DM&HO, and Deputy Superintendents – Dr K Indira Devi, Dr P Ashok Kumar and CSRMO Dr K Anji Babu, ARMO’s Dr Ch Sadhana, Dr M Vijay Sankar were present.

Dr P V Sudhakar acknowledged the services rendered by Dr G Arjuna, former superintendent. He requested all the staff and faculty of King George Hospital to work with dedication in this tough times of COVID and help the patients.
