As part of the 95th birthday celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba (23rd November), service activities were carried out by the youth and sevadal of Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva samiti at a simple programme held at sri sathya sai mandir, sector-2, Ukkunagaram, today.
Special physiotherapy equipment like ultrasound machine, Acutens and muscle stimulator of high-quality work were presented to Bhavitha specially-abled children school located at paravada.
Speaking on the occasion, P Santosh, coordinator, district samagra siksha abhiyan lauded the untiring efforts of sri sathya sai seva organization in helping the needy as per the divine ideology “Love-All- Serve All” as advocated by Bhagavan sri sathya sai baba.
The physiotherapist of Bhavitha specially-abled school Dr. Archana thanked ukkunagaram sri sathya sai seva samithi for helping the needy differently-abled children. “These equipment will help in pain relief, reducing the nervous weakness and also in strengthening the muscles of the children”, Dr.Archana said.
Mrs.Kumrai, faculty of the Bhavitha school said that the special physiotherapy equipment provided by Ukkunagaram sri sathya sai seva samithi will help in speedy recovery of the problems being faced by the differently-abled children.
G. Ramakrishna, convener, Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva samiti said that they deem it as an opportunity given by the almighty to serve the needy with love. He said that sri sathya sai seva organizations will always be ready to help the needy anywhere.
In addition to this service activity, note books were presented to the children of Govt. Schools at Desapatrunipalem and Sainagar. J.Vijayababu and Mrs. Ch.Gayatri, head master/mistress of the respective schools collected the note books from G Ramakrishna. Smt. Padma, ladies service wing coordinator and SK Ramakrishna Raju, Joint convener coordinated the service activities on behalf of youth and sevadal wing of Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva samiti.
