Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) will be conducting a five-day online Entrepreneurship Development Programme on the dairy industry. The event is supported by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). According to a release, FAPCCI said that the demand for milk and milk products in India is projected to increase by 191.3 million tonnes in 2020.
At this rate of growth in the dairy sector, supply will fall short of demand in the next decade. There are tremendous opportunities for many commercial dairy units in the medium and small scale sector, FAPCCI said.
Speaking to Hello Vizag, FAPPCCI programme coordinator Sk Shabuddin said that in view of the immense opportunities available in commercial Dairy business FAPCCI have designed the five-day Online EDP from January 27, 2021 to February 1, 2021. He stated that the EDP deals with the various aspects of setting up a dairy farm and milk processing plant and economic parameters connected with them. Shabuddin said that the objective of the programme is to enhance the knowledge on the important aspects of dairy industry and dairy-based products.
