Sri Sathya Sai Seva organization(SSSSO) Visakhapatnam in association with RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), conducted Free Integrated Medical camp at Bongaram tribal village in Pdabailu Mandal here on Sunday. Visakhapatnam Steel plant extended the financial support as a part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) initiative.
The Medical camp was organised under the supervision of Dr GVS Rao, Chief Medical Officer, Sri Sathya Sai Medical Services, Visakhapatnam District. Doctors examined 521 tribal villagers in the areas of General medicine, Gynecology, Dental & Ophthalmology.
Sai Krishna from Visakha Eye Hospital coordinated on behalf of the Visakha Eye Hospital team. VR Nageswararao, District President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organizations (SSSSO) Visakhapatnam and K Ganesh, District President, Sri Sathya sai Seva organizations Paderu region attended the camp.
RA Naidu, District Mobile hospital services coordinator, Visakhapatnam totally planned and organised the Camp and sevadal from Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi and Sri Sathya Sai Seva organization, Paderu assisted the patients and doctors. Lab Technicians, Paramedical, Nursing, Refractionists and sevadal assisted the doctors in conducting the free integrated medical camp.
Visakha District Mobile Medical Van of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organization, Vizag district has supported the medical camp with the ECG Machine, Semi Auto-analyser, Centrifuge, BP Apparatus, Nebulizer equipment. Visakha Eye Hospital supported the camp with its Mobile Medical Van and staff. Selected Patients who required Eye surgeries were taken to Visakha Eye Hospital, Visakhapatnam and identified patients for Different Surgeries and follow-up treatments were taken to Gayatri Medical College Hospital, Visakhapatnam for further free treatment.
