Gang rape in Vizag Agency

While going to the loo outside, the two girls with an age of 14 and 17 were gang-raped by 5 members on Monday in Sunkarametta area which comes under Araku police station limits under Visakhapatnam district.

The novice girls while rushing to the loo, were called by two youth who knew them well. These boys asked the girls to join for the mega fair that is Araku Utsav but they being unaware of the fact that the Utsav has been already over on March 1.

The girls got into the car being unaware and later three other members joined and took them to an isolated area and raped them.

The incident came into the light after their parents lodged a complaint. Since that day the accused is on the loose and has absconded. The case has been registered under section 376 D of the IPC and under the POCSO Act. The investigation is going on and the minor girls have been admitted into KGH Hospital for the medical tests.
