GITAM Deemed to be University newly established Kautilya School of Public Policy announced national level scholarships to four students for the academic year 2021. The School Director Sridhar Pabbisetty informed that they are offering a 2-year, full-time residential Masters Program in Public Policy by combining Indian ethos, culture, and values with Western public policy frameworks.
With the vision of “Rebalance the role of Society, Government, and Business towards an Equitable and Regenerative India and World,” the school aims to grow and contribute to knowledge along the lines of Ivy league policy schools around the world, he added.
The school director further informed that Kautilya has created a platform where policy education can be availed by students in the form of need-based scholarships. About 50% of the incoming students will receive scholarships in the brackets of 25 percent, 50 percent, and 100 percent waiver of the total tuition fee for their post-graduate program in Public Policy.
He announced that this year Bihar student Mr. PritishAnand has secured a 50 percent waiver off his fee while Andhra Pradesh student’s Mr. Mohammed Habeebullah, Mr. Waseem Ahmad(Vizag) and Kolkata student, RatnadeepChakraborty have secured a 100 percent waiver off their fee each. The selections were done based on their applications, interviews, and their essay submissions, he added.
