Government of AP school of education cancels the summative assessment for class VI to IX.


Previously the Maharashtra government took a call that the annual summative exams II that are usually conducted in the summers were cancelled and will be promoted to the next class.
Seeing the conditions and keeping in mind the safety and welfare of children in the foremost. The Government of Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education have informed all the Regional Joint Directors of school education and district educational officers that the summative assessment II that usually is conducted in the month of April is cancelled.
This is done as a precautionary measure to counter the spread of novel coronavirus and also the exams that usually are conducted in the summers are not favourable at all for the conduction of the examinations.
Hence the exams for the classes of VI to IX are cancelled and all the students will be promoted to the next academic year.
