GVMC to reclaim 25 acres land through bio-mining project

Bio-mining project gets approved at Kapuluppada dump yard. GVMC Commissioner Dr. G Srijana inspected the dumping yard on thursday, after the approval of bio-remediation project.

Bio-remediation helps in freeing up the space in the dumping yard, where already dumped waste will be cleared by digging up and removing of bulky items.

After clearing, the waste will be recycled and also will be converted into compost.

Out of the 100 acre land GVMC will be able to reclaim 25 acres, which will further be used for other purposes.

Zigma Environmental Solutions Private Limited will take up the project and clean the land, which will later be handed over to GVMC.
