Rotary Club Visakha Centennial (RCVC) today donated Assistive Devices & wheelchairs to four beneficiaries including Baby Saba, Master Rikshith and others of Ability Rehabilitation Center (ARC), Visakhapatnam in presence of Chief Guest PVN Madhav, MLC, Visakhapatnam. Rs. 2 lakh Cash donation also given by RCVC to Baby Saba for Hip disarticulation prosthetic device, who born without right leg hip down. Apart from giving Rs. 40,000 cash donation on an individual basis by Rtn. Murthy, he also promised to extend support for her school education.

Speaking on the occasion, PVN Madhav appreciated the noble endeavours of the Rotary Club Visakha Centennial towards the needy and downtrodden people from time to time. With this donation, at least, we can see the vibrant smile on the Sabas’s face for standing independently for the first time on both legs is an amazing feeling and that evident from her sparkling eyes. More than that, Saba will take a long time to realise that she is perhaps the first person in India to be fitted with a hip disarticulation prosthetic system which was developed completely with remote inputs with virtual support.
