Here Is The Latest Updated List Of Covid-19 Hospitals In Visakhapatnam District


There has been a rapid increase in the Covid-19 cases in India and all over the world. The world is also witnessing deaths at a large Since the past couple of weeks. Keeping all these things in mind, under the directions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and the District Collector Of Visakhapatnam, there have been a number of disciplinary measures executed for the betterment of the people. Many of the hospitals in the district have been converted into Covid-19 specialized centers in order to manage the Covid-19 situation better. The hospitals have been divided into two categories, Category A and Category B, segmenting both Government and Private hospitals. Here, we present you the list of Covid-19 hospitals in Visakhapatnam district.

Every hospital designated as a Covid-19 hospital in the district have got a nodal officer appointed by the Ap Government. They will be supervising all the Covid-19 related activities in those hospitals. They are responsible in ensuring hassle free treatment for the patients admitted in those hospitals. They are responsible in updating the availability of beds in the designated portal every 6 hours. The nodal officers will also be responsible for taking care of other things such as arranging a 24*7helps desk for aiding the relatives of the patients, monitoring the hospital’s activities, conducting quality checks of food being served to Covid-19 patients tracking the availability of covid related medicines.

These nodal officers will be reporting to the Joint collector of Visakhapatnam and if they receive any further directives from the collector, they should be implementing them immediately.

The Government is taking enough required steps to keenly monitor the Covid-19 situation in the district and avoid any inconvenience to the patients. All you have to do is stay home and stay safe.
