Hot rasam tea boosts the immunity


As COVID-19 is declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) it is important for one to take care of health and have some nutritious food at home.
Food plays an important role whether in the lives of children, students or elderly person. It is all deserted from malls to streets and a complete lockdown. What better than having good food in times of Coronavirus.
Gone are the times one could have Rasam only with rice. Tweaked with nutrition and spices have some homemade Rasam tea. It isn’t just delicious but also boosts the immunity. Indian spices and cooking methods helps in increasing the immunity.
To make the Hot rasam tea :
Gather Garlic, curry leaves, cumin seeds, tamarind, onions, Tomato, dry chilli powder and coriander leaves and all the ingredients first.
Take one tomato, two teaspoon cumin seeds, two teaspoons of black peppercorns, a ball of tamarind, salt, one teaspoon of mustard seeds, one teaspoon of turmeric powder.
To get the fine powder ready grind cumin seeds, black pepper, curry leaves. After getting the powder to add some pulp of tomato and tamarind pulp to get a paste. Take a Kadai, boil 2 cups of water and add the paste. Sheer boiling it for 5 minutes pour it in a cup and garnish it with a dash of coriander leaves.
Each of these ingredients have some benefits that involve cumin seeds have megalomania that has the antibiotic properties, Kariyapata has Vitam A, B and C and Garlic also known as Lasoon combats bacteria.
