I will hold the flag of YSRCP till my last breath and remain indebted to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving me a chance to serve the party under his dynamic leadership, said Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar. Speaking on the eve of the support celebration of Jagananna Vidhya Kanuka here on Saturday, he said, I stepped into a new path of history by associating with YSRCP which is heralding new ideas for the democratic process. The youth of this state is definitely understood and attract to the welfare measures initiated towards one and all by our visionary chief minister, said Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar passionately.
After garlanding the YSR statute at Jagadamba Junction and paying rich tributes, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar flagged off a massive bike rally in support of the Jagananna Vidhya Kanuka, the educational scheme that envisages free distribution of kits to students in government schools, which was launched by the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with much fanfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar said, I used to feel very happy with the way the welfare schemes are being worked out by the chief minister. Nowhere in India, such massive welfare measures costing Rs. 56000 crores have been implemented in toto in every nook and corner in the Andhra Pradesh. Since from the last elections, I remained in the opposition for 14 months by bowing my head in shame.
He also said the opposition should praise the welfare initiatives implemented by the government instead of creating hurdles and bringing disrepute to the noble endeavors taken up by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from time to time. Hailing the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as a leader who nurtured similar aspirations of Late Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, he said we should salute the chief minister for the initiatives of digging borewells and giving pump sets to the farmers.
Other leaders who spoke on this occasion, expressed their happiness towards Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar for joining YSRCP and said the previous TDP government was completely rife with corruption and irregularities.
