Andhra University is going to start an integrated international management programme from this academic year in collaboration with a business school. Fees reimbursement scheme will not be applicable to this integrated MBA programme as it is a self supported programme. Earlier plans were on only to provide international MBA but at the later stage BBA is also added as per National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
This course is going to be a flexible one and students will have an option of exit after completion of 3rd year.
This course will have 65 seats available for this academic year, already 45 seats have been filled up. Earlier, University has completed admission of 45 foreign students who belong to 12 countries and remaining seats will now be available to students based on their 10+12 scores.
As per Rashtriya Uchchatar Siksha Abhiyan (Rusa) scheme, 10 Universities have been selected under Phase 2. Andhra University is one of the ten universities selected under this phase 2 of the scheme. So it was allotted Rs.100 crores by Union Grants Commission (UGC). An amount of Rs. 15 crores was spent on providing infrastructure, training to faculty and other requirements for this new course.
