IPL has been suspended for time being amid the Corona outbreak


Cricket is the ultimate sport which has a massive following all over the world whether one knows the game or not, specially IPL is a game that everybody looks forward to from a child to an elderly person as it happens in the most happening summer season.
The IPL games which were scheduled to happen on March 29 is now postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus. It has stirred fear in such a way that people are avoiding mass interaction or public places. Even in the recent game it was seen how the stands were empty during the New Zealand match.
Keeping in consideration the seriousness of the pandemic virus, BCCI (Board of Cricket Control in India) has decided to postpone the IPL 2020 as of now till April 15. Jay Shah, Secretary, BCCI said that “the postponement of IPL is done due to the outbreak of virus as safe cricketing is the priority whether it is the players or public everybody should be safe.”
Even the final two ODI series was called off that was going to happen between India and South Africa. The stands were also empty during the New zealand and Australia match.
