Launch of ‘Rotary Prana Vayu’ in Vizag


Anakapalli Rotary Club launched the ‘Rotary Prana Vayu’ program at the local Rotary premises Tuesday morning, June 1, said Rtn. P Rajeshwar Prasad, chairman of the project. For the needs of corona patients … Oxygen concentrators are provided to those who are to be hospitalized and waiting for oxygen, and those who are discharged from the hospital and need oxygen. Rotary spokespersons said that the mission started with 6 machines at a cost of Rs 3.5 lakh and would increase this number as and when required.

The project was inaugurated by eminent physicians Dr. Granthi Sheshukumar, eminent businessman Gumpina Ramesh Gupta and young Dr. Pentakota Priyanka. The event was attended by Corporator Mrs. Jazzula Prasanna Lakshmi. These oxygen concentrators are also placed at Chodavaram and Haripalem for their use in the vicinity of Anakapalli. The project in Haripalem will be overseen by Rotary member Kandregula Lakshminarayana and club president Pentakota Pawan Kumar in Chodavaram.


These devices will be provided with a voltage stabilizer at a nominal maintenance cost to the poor. Oxygen concentrators can be obtained at the Rotary Hall in the local New Colony.
