On this occasion, DCP Aishwarya Rastogi, IPS, Special Branch Additional DCP Anand Reddy, Dwarka ACP Ramanamurthy coined the alcohol liberation campaign called ‘Madyam Vaddu ~ Kutumbam Muddu’. Speaking during the awareness campaign, City Police Commissioner R K Meena, said the Andhra Pradesh government is working towards making large-scale de-addiction centers available in order to bring back those to normal community life who are addicted to alcohol and drugs. Visakhapatnam City police would extend its fullest support to the anti-alcohol free society and said government is taking all kinds of step towards complete ban on alcohol and would provide adequate assistance to make “Nasha Mukth Bharat”.
Social activist and alcohol liberation campaigner Suresh Betha explained the activities and objectives of the State anti-alcohol Committee. He said inspiring videos that message against drugs and liquor to youth are being produced. Suresh Betha said the SALAM police video is being produced their services during Corona.
