With Unlock 1.0 coming into play, and the reopening of public places like hotels, shopping malls, and places of worship, the authorities and management of said places have guaranteed precautionary measures to ensure social distancing and safety of the public.
Such is the case of the Mandsaur Pashupatinath Temple in Madhya Pradesh. It installed an automatic sensor in the temple bell, which ensures no physical contact, as the bell can be rung without touching it. According to the temple authorities, this was essential, as temples had opened, but people were not touching the bells to avoid infection of Covid-19.
The man who installed the sensor, Nahru Khan, said, “I felt that there should be a way for people to be able to ring the bell during the pandemic without touching it, so I installed this sensor.”
The devotees worshipping at the temple are extremely happy with this latest addition, as they believe it’s extremely important to ring the bell when they pray. They said that this sensor is very helpful during this pandemic, and ensures that the virus doesn’t spread either.
