Megastar made his acting debut with “Punadhirallu”, but his film “Pranam Khareedu” was the first one to get released. Later, he went on to become one of the finest actors that Tollywood has produced and there was no looking back in his entire acting career. He is the top paid actor from the 1980s until he stopped doing movies and went into politics. He was paid Rs 1.25 crore for the film Aapadbandhavudu in 1992, it was the highest remuneration for any actor in India during that period.
He made an excellent comeback with Khaidi No.150 in 2017 and proved that his acting skills and fan base did not change even after a gap of more than 12 years. Later, in 2019 his film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy had shown his versatile acting skills. The estimated box office collection for Khaidi No. 150 is Rs 164 crore and that of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is Rs 240.6 crore. Both of his comeback films proved his stamina at the box office.
As both the films are done under Ram Charan’s production, there were no proper reports about his remuneration for those films. But as his films are collecting more or less the same as the current top hero’s of Tollywood, his remuneration is also going to be high as them. It is known that Chiru’s remuneration for Acharya movie would be Rs 50 crore. If the news is officially announced, he will once again become, one of the top paid actors of Tollywood alongside Rebelstar Prabhas and Superstar Mahesh babu.
