Most of the private schools shut down to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Vizag


Enough measures are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the battle is getting tougher but people are striving hard to come out of it. Doctors, Government are doing their part to ensure a silver lining at the end of the day.
As the situation is worse in Mumbai, Kerala, Delhi, Center declared a shutdown of all public availing spaces which includes malls, theatres, schools, colleges. Even most of the employees have shifted to work from home.
Putting safety first, some of the private schools, colleges have closed till March 31 and initiated online classes to curb the spread of COVID-19 as this coming few weeks are important for observation and its control.
As of now, no orders have come from the State Government regarding the closure of schools but awareness campaigns, announcements are being made regarding the cleanliness, hygiene etc.
Some of the parents and college-going students seem worried as even now the college hasn’t been closed at least till March 31. On Tuesday, Gitam deemed to be University announced holidays till March 31 and it is a relief to many as some of them would come from far off place in the bus, auto, bike and now with the holidays social distancing could be followed for a while.
Malls, theatres look deserted and people are staying indoors mostly. Some schools even though they are shut they have opted online classes.
