Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation has signed an MoU with KL Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (KLIPFC) to promote and provide intellectual property rights registration (Trademark, Copyright, Patents, Design Patents, etc.) for MSMEs, Start-ups and businesses. Chambers will play the role of a coordinator to bring awareness and educate interested parties about the importance of intellectual property rights and foster the culture of IPR registration in the State. KLIPFC will provide intellectual property rights registration services.
The MoU was signed by Mr. K.V.S. Prakash Rao, President, AP Chambers and Dr. K. Raghava Rao, Prof. in CSE KLEF and PI-KLIPFC in the presence of Mr. Potluri Bhaskara Rao, General Secretary, AP Chambers, Prof. V.S.V. Prabhakar, Director, Industrial Relations, KLEF, Mr. Velagapudi Sambasiva Rao , President, All India Chilli Exporters Association, Mr. M.S. Ramachandra Rao, General Secretary, AP Small Industries Association, and Mr. B.S. Koteshwara Rao, Managing Director, Profit Shoe Company.
AP Chambers and KLIPFC will be organizing a series of webinars to educate the Chambers’ members about the importance of intellectual property rights registration and the process involved. The first webinar, “Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights for Start-ups and MSMEs” is being organised on Monday, 8th March from 3 to 5 PM via the Webex platform.
