In the romantic comedy, Nani will be seen as a Brahmin boy who is madly in love with a Christian girl (played by Nazriya Fahadh). Realizing that his orthodox family might create a problem for their relationship, Nani ensures that Nazriya poses as a Brahmin girl, Hello Vizag finds
With his first two films — Mental Madhilo and Brochevarevaruraa — Vivek Athreya established himself as one of the most promising young directors to watch out for. No wonder, he got the nod of Nani, who is known for his immaculate script selection, for his next. Titled Ante Sundariniki, the film — although in development for over eight months — was announced recently by production house Mythri Movie Makers. According to a source, we hear that Vivek has once again readied a script which has plenty of drama and his signature situational humour.
The source chips in, “Ante Sundariniki will see Nani, a Brahmin, as a software engineer who dreams of going to the US for a better life. Nazriya Fahadh, on the other hand, will be playing a Christian girl. They both fall in love but Sundaram realizing that his orthodox family might create a problem for their relationship ensures that Nazriya poses as a Brahmin girl. The resulting chaos is narrated in a hilarious fashion.”
The source adds, “Nani was highly impressed with the way Vivek etched his role. It was something he has hardly done in his career so far. Besides being in his comfort zone, the role has a lot of meat for him to explore. Same is the case with Nazriya’s part as well. The icing on the cake for Nani was that the role and the film will be a welcome departure for him from a grave film like Shyam Singha Roy.”
Ante Sundariniki will go in front of the cameras once Shyam Singha Roy reaches towards the fag end of its filming. Vivek is repeating his Brochevarevaruraa composer Vivek Sagar for the project, while Niketh Bommireddy, who shot Akasaam Nee Haddhu Ra and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, has been signed on as the cameraman.
