18th August 2020 will mark the platinum jubilee of the Netaji Subash Chandra Bose mystery, as the day will mark the completion of 75 years since his disappearance. The occasion will mark a juncture in Indian history which brings no credit to us. The nation has so far failed to unearth what happened to Netaji behind the cover of the “air-crash” of 1945. However, despite the failure of the reluctance of the government to find out the truth, sections of people of the country have remained inquisitive about the fate of Netaji.
AS a result of their in-depth inquiry and dedicated research work which we can appreciate in the backdrop of the Dissentient Report penned by the late Suresh Chandra Bose (Netaji’s elder brother) decades ago, and which we can evaluate vis-à-vis the report of the Justice Mukherjee Commission, it is now crystal clear that Netaji did not die in the Taihoku air-crash and that Netaji’s remaining alive till 1985 inside India may not be a figment of the imagination.
The existence of the nameless hermit of Ayodhya-Faizabad has now become the focal point of all unbiased Netaji-centric research. It has to be borne in mind that the Mukherjee Commission did not conclude that the nameless saint was a person different from Netaji. The Commission just left this issue unanswered as the evidence then available before the Commission was inadequate. Further research by private inquirers has by now established to a reasonable standard that the question of the identity of the nameless hermit who died (or disappeared) in 1985, cannot be ignored in the context of researching the fate of Netaji.
Anyway, the silent existence of the nameless sannyasi was not known to the general public in West Bengal at that time, but there were whispers which occasionally popped up in the print media in Uttar Pradesh even during the saint’s lifetime. The government of India, it is surmised, still holds some unknown information and enlightening materials that can throw light on the Netaji Mystery in such a way that the entire matter may be settled beyond dispute.
Hello Vizag would request the topmost authorities in the Government that all such sensitive, decisive, and conclusive material regarding Netaji, which are still guarded beyond the reach of the public, be disclosed before the nation at the earliest so that the mystery is solved.
