New Deputy Superintendent at KGH, Vizag


Dr.G.Arjuna, Superintendent, KGH has designated Dr.P.Ashok Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics as Deputy Superintendent, King George Hospital in place of Dr.V.Dharma Rao former Professor and Head of the department of Orthopaedics and Deputy Superintendent, KGH, Visakhapatnam who was transferred to Government General Hospital, Srikakulam.

Dr.P.Ashok Kumar joined as PHC Medical Officer in 1994 at Srikakulam District and later joined as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics in 1996 at KGH, Visakhapatnam. In 2008 he was promoted as Associate Professor at RIMS, Srikakulam and later in 2015 promoted as Professor and 2019 as Head of the Department of Orthopaedics.

Dr.K.Indira Devi, Deputy Superintendent and Professor of General Medicine, Dr.M.Vijay Sankar, ARMO, Dr.Ch.Sadhana, ARMO, Dr.H.R.K.Dora, ARMO and Dr.P.Bindu Madhavi, ARMO have congratulated Dr.P.Ashok Kumar on his assuming charge as Deputy Superintendent, King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam.

The second counselling for posts of temporary Covid-19 was done recently. Around 30 staff nurses were recruited in King George Hospital by Superintendent, KGH and Principal, Andhra Medical College with guidelines of District Selection Committee. All the candidates were given their joining reports to join in duties from 29.07.2020.
