Odisha is the first state to extend the lockdown till April 30

The lockdown may get lifted or not by April 14 in the centre, that is yet to be decided but the Odisha Government has already taken a call on it.

Though the cases are comparatively low in Odisha, the CM Naveen Patnaik, after having a discussion with his cabinet ministers have decided to extend the lockdown till April 30 and also urged the center to take this call too.

Cases are spiking up and this is the right call at the moment, to halt the spread of virus as lives are more important right now.

Educational institutions will be closed till june 17 th and the exams will be conducted, when the call is taken but as of now every college, school will be shut.

Other Governments too are in the favour of the extension, maybe in a few days the center will announce the decision too.
