OLA resumes its operations in Visakhapatnam


With Vizag being declared as Orange Zone, Ola a mobility cab service announces to resume its operation in Visakhapatam.

However, these cab services will resume with new safety initiatives keeping the pandemic COVID-19 situation in mind. This safety initiative is tagged as ’10 steps to a safer ride’.

This ’10 step’s to a safer ride’ initiative puts an emphasis on both customers and driver partners safety. These services will not be available in the contaminated zones in the city and will only be available in identified safe zones by the government.

A mandatory selfie authentication before and after ride is been put in forth to ensure safety. Furthermore, sanitization of the vehicle before and after every ride by the driver is also made mandatory.

Apart from this if either of the driver or passenger feel the rules or safety measures are not being followed they are free to cancel the ride.

Just not in Vizag but the cab services are said to be resumed in 100 other cities that have been identified as Green and Orange Zones by the Health Ministry of India.
